More Than Gravity - Two of Cups

Valentine's Day...here is a holiday I don't normally get involved with.  I have nothing against the day, I just never feel the need to celebrate it the same way others do.  However, it is the perfect occasion to explore the Two of Cups.

Here is a small collection of things that remind me of it.

"Love is friendship that has caught fire.  It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving.  It is loyalty through good and bad times."
-Ann Landers

"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation.  It is too long ago.  I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun."
- Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other."
-Audrey Hepburn

  1. That sense of equality is what makes the Two of Cups so much broader than a simple romance card. The exchange of cups feels like mutual recognition: two people meeting each other openly, whether as lovers, friends or partners. At https://tarotsiono.info/ we also pay attention to that distinction, because even in a yes-or-no tarot reading the Two of Cups can point to reciprocity, trust and emotional balance rather than romance alone.
